Molly's at the Market's Halloween Parade

It’s that time of year again..
The festivities for this year start at 10am, with the actual parade leaving Molly’s at 5:30pm. The “standard fare” of entertainment will accompany the parade, consisting of (but not limited to) a firetruck, bands, jugglers, stiltwalkers, monkeys (I wish), etc. This is the Traditional Jim Monaghan Parade.

Children's Music Festival at the Old U.S. Mint

There will be a music festival for children this Saturday September 15th from 2-6pm at the Old U.S. Mint (Barracks Street and Decatur Street). This is a new thing for the neighborhood and details are slim, but I’m guessing there will be a local lineup and lots of fun for all ages.

25th annual Irish Parade on Lower Decatur

The Times-Piccayune published this to say about the St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Lower Decatur Holiday Craft Bazaar

This Saturday marks the last of our holiday craft bazaars. We’ll artists displaying their wares on the sidewalks of Lower Decatur. The event takes place from noon to 6pm.
Artists will include:
Dismantled Designs / Reconstructed Clothing and Accessories
Art by Mags / Recycled materials, stenciled clocks, ornaments, and T-shirts
